Brian Patafie, referred to by his fans as “Comedy’s Original Enter-Trainer”, is quickly becoming a rising star in the North American comedy scene. Before launching his stand-up career, Brian spent 44 years in the hockey world, working as an athletic trainer in both the NHL as well as Germany’s Deutsche Eishockey Liga. He’s authored two books, Ice It Down and No Days Off, and spent his off-seasons emceeing sports events with a flair for humor.

His transition to comedy began in 2021 when he embarked on his No Days Off Tour, honing his skills with writers to craft his unique comedic voice. Since then, Brian’s comedy career has taken off, with sold-out shows across the continent, including multiple high-profile appearances in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Not only has Brian shared his stories across the United States and Canada, he also embarked on a multi-city, multi-show tour throughout the United Kingdom in October 2022. His Funny As Puck tour, currently in progress, brings audiences a mix of hilarious one-liners and a deeply personal, comedic look at his experiences with his dysfunctional upbringing in a military family, his hockey career, and life in general.
